Another crazy statistic is the number of times that people use Google. There are over 3.5 billion searches on Google each day and that is just accounting for the most popular search engine. As far as the future goes, we can expect to see increased usage of voice searches (already over 1 billion per month) and it is expected that drones will play a big part in the eCommerce sector. It is expected that there will be over 600,000 commercial drones by the end of 2018 and then who knows where it will go from there.
There are also over 15.5 billion WordPress web page views every month, with website traffic from mobile phones increasing by 36% over the last five years. We can clearly see that everything points towards a world that is, even more, Internet orientated in the future.
